Making Dreams Come True at Bluebell Wood
Kuki Director Simon Nicholls took time out on Friday to give some very special children at Bluebell Wood Hospice a VIP helicopter flight with their families.
Jack, Kasabian, Ebony, Tyler and Lilly-Mai got a fantastic bird’s eye view of the local area during the afternoon.
Vicky, mum of Jack aged 10, who was the first ever child at Bluebell Wood Hospice at eight months old said: “Jack and I will cherish this memory forever. I can’t thank Kuki enough for what you have done today. Jack loves talking about flying, helicopters and aeroplanes, and it has made his wish come true to be able to fly today.”
Tammy, mum of Ebony aged 6, said: “It has been a truly special afternoon that we will never forget. It’s a once in a lifetime experience for Ebony and you will never know what it means to us.”
Eight-year-old Kasabian, being treated for bone cancer, took his puppet friend Spud along for the flight and said it was his best day ever.
