Standardisation Flights at Kuki

‘At Kuki Helicopters we not only teach our students how to become safe helicopter pilots and pass on this knowledge and principles of safe flying to them right from day one, but we also continue to learn and improve ourselves with each flight and our standardisation flights. Me and Matt were doing a standardisation flight in our R44 covering Emergencies – PFLs and EOLs, you can see the Helicopter is in Autorotation from the above image. We fly together at least once or twice a month to standardise each other, going over ways to teach and improve techniques. To make it easier to understand and to put across key points to the student and also to improve our own flying.
At Kuki this November we will be celebrating 20 years of Helicopter Pilot Training based at Gamston Airport with a 100% Pass and Safety records and we try to teach our students all they need to know to be safe confident Pilots. You never stop learning and can always improve your flying skills and knowledge.’ Simon.
